I design things.
I am dedicated to designing and creating diverse content that brings meaning to people’s lives. I am a self taught visual artist with a background in engineering and desire to pursue art and design as a way to contribute to the experience of people.
I have been making art for 5 years. My aim is to continue to sharpen my skills and explore various disciplines to expand my work, creating designs that preserves identity and strengthens community.
Things I enjoy to keep me grounded: taking pictures of my cats, cooking, window shopping, and making sure my plants stay alive.
The Style.
I generally focus on intricate patterns, calligraphy, and florals. My style generally reflects Islamic culture and aesthetics, and incorporates ethnic patterns from across the Muslim world.
I work with acrylic paints, gouache, and watercolors. My digital artworks are created in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. For marketing materials, branding, and other graphic designs, Canva is my best friend.
Custom Art.
Aside from my own style of artworks, I also create custom artworks for clients across the US. My aim is to create original pieces that represent the customer’s culture and individuality, something unique and personal to them.
Commissioned art comes in all forms: graduation caps, banners, digital art, logo design, canvas paintings, henna art, painted apparel, graphics, etc. The sky’s the limit!
Causes.
Being able to create art is a blessing for me, and I want to extend this blessing to others in need. I would love to donate my art to charity auctions and other causes, so if you or an organization would like to collaborate to raise funds please reach out to me.
